Call me CRAZY...

...but I LOVE the smell of fresh pumpkin!!!

Last night we let the kids carve their pumpkins and make a big mess all over the kitchen floor! And it didn't matter, because its part of the tradition right...

Here's Mason showing you the same face his pumpkin has LOL

Camryn only wanted Stuart to help her with hers...so after I helped her trace the face she drew onto the pumpkin I was done helping her...

Ben dug right into his...it took some time due to the size and of course he was the last to finish and needed some help from both Stuart and I but was very happy with how it turned out...

The kids did a great job designing and cutting out their faces...their Jack-o-lanterns turned out great!!!

...and then we ending the night with the BEST fall dessert EVER Pumpkin Crisp...I love this dessert so much that I don't even make Pumpkin Pie anymore...

Who doesn't LOVE FREEBIES...

...just 2 years ago I started teaching myself digital scrapbooking because I wanted to challenge myself to learn something new...I haven't stopped since...I've learn alot and there's still a lot more to learn...and thou I will NEVER give up tradional scrapbooking I am having so much fun "digital" scrapbooking...as a matter of fact in the last year I have completed MORE pages digitally then I have with paper. So back to the FREEBIE part LOL Pam from Pamela Donnis Designs and members from her creative team thought in preparation for the holiday season, they would create 10 quickpages to help jumpstart the many gift albums we all need to make, or just to give us some fun pages to add to our stash. So...you will need to check out Pam's blog because each day a new page can be downloaded, be sure to check back often so you don't miss any!

Here's my Day One:

This one was created from a new kit that Pam will be releasing soon. Quickpage #1, created by Tiffany.

Here's my Day Two:

Quickpage #2, created by Aly Hall.

Here's my Day Three:

Quickpage #3, created by Fiona.

October Assignment

...for Scrappin' Sports & More This month, DT member Tracy challenged us all to complete a LO using this Page Map in an hour which I did except for the hour I had to wait for the photos to be processed at Costco LOL...excuse the crappy photos...it was a bit cloudy today and I just couldn't get a good picture at all!

Here's my take...

She also challenged us to do one altered item with a Christmas theme but since I have three kiddos I ended up doing three...I had to keep it fair so I made an ornament for each of them...

I was also able to pull out some of their sports photos from the summer and early fall and complete 3 additonal LOs...this first one might look a bit familiar, I made one kinda like it for CHA and since I didn't get it back I needed to make another for myself...I changed it up a bit and I must say I really like how it turned out.

I also think its time for me to mention that this will be my last assignment for SS&M...a couple months ago I was asked to sign again for another 6 mon. term and decided that I wouldn't...I have had a great time over the last year and a half but felt that it was time to say goodbye. I have made some great friendships with the gals on the team and I'm so happy there's the internet so we will remain in contact :) Thank you SS&M for such a great time designing for you the past year and a half!

Happy 9th Birthday Ben!!!

I can't believe I'm the mom of a 9 year old!!!

This morning we were able to head down to the pond and get some Fall pictures...

...and even one of my parents...

...and a couple of family shots too...

...after "photos" we headed out to lunch...originally Ben wanted a BBQ for his birthday but plans changed yesterday late afternoon...I didn't mind too much since I still hadn't gone to the grocery store and it meant that I wouldn't have to prepare any food :) While out to lunch I was taking photos and my dad was just being so goofy...I couldn't get a single photo of him without a silly look on his face...then when it was Ben's turn for a photo, he did the same thing...I can't wait to do that LO...lately Ben copies everything my dad does and believe me some of the things aren't so good! lol

After eating we headed back to my parents - hung out for awhile and then Ben opened up his gift and we all ate some cake...which I decorated this morning...my mom wasn't feeling too good so I went over early this morning and helped out.

I think Ben had a fun Birthday...it was a bit different then what we normally do but he didn't seem to mind.

...and last but not least Week #27 Reveal @ Page Plans...

With Halloween right around the corner it was time to be SPOOKY!!! Can you believe that this is Ben...it was several years ago and he really wanted to be scary! I think he achieved that lol Camryn and Mason wouldn't even look at him!

Well it looks like we could have a couple serious surgeries in the near future to deal with so I may not be around for awhile...please keep my mom and father-in-law in your thoughts and prayers. Until next time...

In Spokane it was Moose and Deer...

...here its itty bitty bunnies LOL or as Mason said its the Easter Bunny!

This little guy has been hanging around all week - every morning we've seen him right outside the front door...Stuart says, "I bet he's eating your plants!" and it seems strange, I almost said those aren't my plants...this house still doesn't feel like mine...

...its kinda hard to tell from this picture but this bunny isn't much bigger then my hand! And boy is it fast!!!

Thinking about Christmas already!!!

I can't believe Christmas is just around the corner...I really don't want to be thinking about it...

This afternoon I sat down and made this card...I pulled out some older SWEETWATER (I still just LOVE their stuff) and my nestabilities and this is what I came up with...I haven't done anything all week...I've had a crappy week and it was nice to sit down and actually do SOMETHING!

...I also made this hybrid birthday card using the Snips and Snails digital kit by Pamela Donnis Designs - tfl
